The GEIS 2025 International Sarcoma Symposium, held in Zaragoza (Spain), concluded after an intense day dedicated to scientific exchange, updating knowledge, and strengthening collaboration between professionals, researchers, and patient associations.
During the meeting, national and international experts shared the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of sarcomas, especially chondrosarcoma, addressing key topics such as biomarkers, sarcoma subtypes, bone tumors, and the most recent clinical challenges.
The symposium also included a section dedicated to the voices of patients and their associations, who provided essential insight into the daily challenges of diagnosis, access to treatment, and quality of life.
From GEIS (Grupo Español de Investigación en Sarcomas) we would like to express our gratitude to all the speakers for the quality of their presentations, to the attendees for their active participation, and to the patient associations for their commitment and ongoing support.
A special acknowledgment to our sponsors -- Deciphera, Bayer, Cogent Biosciences, PharmaMar y SpringWorks Therapeutics -- for their support, which makes possible this meeting.
GEIS continues working toward a common goal: to advance research and improve treatments for sarcoma patients, building a future together with greater knowledge and hope.
