Ivan was a patient with sarcomas who fought tirelessly and his family and friends wanted to honor him by performing a rock festival.
Thanks to the collaboration of the residents of Quesada (Jaén), especially Antonio López and the Mayor, last summer they held a Rock festival, the "IVAN ROCK", to collect funds to be allocated for rabdomiosarcoma research.
GEIS has had the honor of receiving these funds during the International Symposium held on October 5, 2017.
The Ivan Rock festival accumulated an amount of € 52,000 that GEIS will now allocate to the Iván Pérez Scholarship for Rhabdomyosarcoma Reaseach. This scholarship will be announced in January 2018 and will be delivered to the best project evaluated by an international jury in March 2018.
